MetroMeet is an adults-only social app built around a distance-scoped local wall. Members can meet neighbors, share updates and plans, chat, and join optional community features.
Email [email protected]. We aim to reply within two business days.
For faster help, write from the email connected to your account and include what you were trying to do, your iPhone model, and your iOS version. Never email us a sign-in code.
My sign-in code did not arrive. What should I do?
Confirm that the email address on the Check your email screen is correct, then check spam or junk. Codes are six digits and expire after 10 minutes. When the 30-second timer ends, tap Resend code. You can also go back and use a different email address or Sign in with Apple.
How do I report or block someone?
Open the menu on a post and choose Report, Mute this member, or Block. On a member's profile, use the Mute, Report, or Block controls near the bottom. Reports enter the moderation queue; blocking cuts off supported contact in both directions. If there is an immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
How do I change my area or reach?
Open Profile → Settings → Location & reach. There you can change your area, ZIP or postal code, and interaction radius. If available, you can tap Use my current location; MetroMeet asks for foreground location permission only after that tap. You can keep location permission off and use the postal option instead.
How do I manage or cancel MetroMeet Plus?
Open MetroMeet Plus and tap Manage subscription, or open your Apple ID subscription settings and select MetroMeet. Apple handles billing. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next renewal charge.
How do I delete my account?
Open Profile → Settings → Danger zone → Delete my account and confirm. You can also email [email protected] from the address connected to your account. The live account and database records are deleted immediately when the request succeeds; photo storage is purged by the deletion function, while unreferenced clip files use the separate cleanup described in the Privacy Policy. Limited safety, audit, and receipt-replay records can be retained as that policy explains.
How does age verification work?
Signup asks for your date of birth. The app and database reject a date that makes you younger than 18. Signup also requires a live selfie so a private selfie is on file for the real-person check. The current selfie step does not estimate your age, compare you with an ID, or automatically match your face to your profile photo. Accounts found to belong to someone under 18 are removed.
